On 6 Feb 2026, SCHMI – Marine Parade Branch (中华医院马林百列分院) was privileged to take part in the “Well-Being & Conversations with Neighbourhood Seniors” programme organised by the Marine Drive Garden RN, engaging meaningfully with seniors in our community.

During the event, our resident physician, Yao Xiaoying, delivered an informative talk titled “A Cough Is Not Just a Cold – A Traditional Chinese Medicine Perspective on Prevention.” The session provided insights into the different types of coughs from a TCM standpoint and highlighted practical daily care and preventive measures.

The event was well attended, with active engagement from participants and encouraging feedback from the community.
