“Healing Heritage” Exhibition: Singapore Chinese Physicians’ Association – Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre

On the morning of October 1, 2025 (Wednesday), the Singapore Chinese Physicians’ Association (SCPA) was honoured to be invited to the opening ceremony of the “Healing Heritage” exhibition, organized by the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre (SCCC). The exhibition aims to deepen public understanding of the history and evolution of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in Singapore.

During the ceremony, Dr. Goh Kia Seng, Chairman of SCPA, received a token of appreciation on behalf of the Association from Mr. Alvin Tan, CEO of SCCC, and Mr. Alex Yam, Mayor of the Northwest District. The token recognized the Association’s efforts in promoting and preserving TCM culture, as well as its support and contribution to the exhibition.

At the event, Chief Physician Lim Ing and Dr. Ng Pu Jue from Singapore Chung Hwa Medical Institution provided pulse diagnosis for guests and offered personalized TCM health advice based on individual constitutions.

In addition to pulse diagnosis, an AI Tongue Diagnostic Device was showcased. Using artificial intelligence, it analyzed participants’ tongue images and instantly generated health reports, allowing guests to gain a clearer insight into their health conditions. The booth also featured a display of various Chinese medicinal herbs, highlighting the TCM concept of “food and medicine from the same source,” which emphasizes the close connection between diet and health.

The event concluded successfully in a warm and engaging atmosphere. Members of the public who are interested in learning more about the origins and development of TCM in Singapore are invited to visit the “Healing Heritage” exhibition at the SCCC’s Creative Box (Level 6).
The exhibition runs from October 1, 2025, to February 22, 2026, and all are warmly welcome to visit.
