Moxa cone & moxa stick
Moxibustion involves heating of certain acupoints and meridians using ignited herbal material. Moxa wool which is made of dry Mugwort leaves is usually used. Moxibustion can warm channels and disperse coldness, remove blood stasis and stagnation.
1. If dizziness, nausea, palpitations or cold sweat occurs during moxibustion, please inform your physician immediately.
2. Localised redness and warmth of the skin is normal after treatment. Avoid bathing within two hours of moxibustion treatment.
Not suitable for patient with abnormal skin conditions or lesions, high fever, fits, seizures, pregnant women and history of fainting during moxibustion. Please consult your physician if unsure.
